My name is Colleen, and I'm a thirty-something living and working in the Baltimore suburbs.
I started Thirty & Counting shortly after turning 30, to document events in my thirtieth decade of life, in the hopes of being relate-able to readers and perhaps even making some friends along the way!
Let me share a little more about me:
I'm 30 years old. I live in the Baltimore suburbs with my boyfriend, Matt, and our geriatric black cat, Ms. Pitt.
I work a typical 9-5 office job as an HR Professional for a major automotive finance company. I like working in HR and for the most part, I enjoy my job. I consider myself lucky because of this.
In my spare time, I like to read (seriously - I am constantly reading and always have a book in my purse), do yoga, and bake tasty treats. I also love checking out new restaurants, and love food of all sorts. I am definitely a homebody and would much prefer a night in with a movie or book to a night out in a loud bar or club. Am I 30 or 80?! Haha.
Family is important to me, and I value the friendships that I have. I'm so happy you're here.
